I just replaced my vacuum pump and i put on new manifold exhaust gaskets the one on the turbo side was blown, ater i replaced it now when you give it fuel it blows alot of black smoke and doesnt have any power for 2 to 5 seconds and then the turbo kicks in and it does like it should, so i checked the vacuum at the wastegate solenoid and i have 25 psi at idle so then i checked it at the wastegate valve and i have 21 psi at idle, so then i had it hooked to the computer at the dealer and they said that my accelerator pedal position sensor is bad so my question is, is that what is causing my problem or is it something else?

If you ran it for sometime with a bad vacuum pump, it was producing soot that will have blocked the cat if you still have one. If so, cut it off, it causes more polution than it was designed to prevent.

I didn't run it long when it went out i drove it straight to the shop about 50 miles. So does the accelerator pedal sensor not have anything to do with it blowing black smoke for 2 to 5 seconds before the turbo kicks in?

No, it has no responsibility for turbo lag. From idle to sudden boot down will cause a couple of seconds of black smoke.
