Cracked in half front Diff.?

I never heard or felt anything i just noticed leaking fluid.
I had just gotten the drive shaft replaced, because it twisted in half, when i was stuck in the sand.
has any one ever heard of these breaking?
I guess i will have to do the SAS swap.

yeah mine shelled out at about 170,000. Knocked a hole the size of a baseball in it. My brother in-law was using my truck to pull someone out of the mud...sounds similar to your situation. Never heard of it before or since- 'til now, unfortunately for you....:(
