Injector Pump R&R

After some driving around with a jug of water in my toolbox, I am pretty sure the IP is going to give up the ghost. Is the R&R for the IP straight forward or is this something a shop should handle?

...have a standard tranny ,yes it's a pretty simple change...if you have an automatic,then you 'll have to adjust the tps when you put it on the new pump..on an electronic pump change them out and maybe you'll get a timing code but that's easy to adjust out also...jd
