Parked the rig b4 I left on vacation (1997 K2500HD 225000mi) returned home and cranks over & over but seems like no fuel. I had 2 issues b4 i left but the truck was running ok otherwise. Issue 1 need a new fuel cap, I am getting bad suction when i remove to refuel (better crack that tonight to see if that is some of the issue). Had a new SSDiesel heat sink with new PMD and it went bad maybe a year ago. Plugged back into my stock PMD and have been running on that since but twice about 2 months ago the truck quit so i am assuming that is on its way out. PS no service engine light but didnt check for codes.

I put a new lift pump on and new fuel filter and still no fire. Ordered a new PMD, need to check that i have the new filter bled proper and put a new fuel cap on hopefully something comes with that.

Anybody have any suggestions on anything i may have missed????
thanks.

If there is a small leak in the fuel system, over time of non use, it fills with air. Loosen 2 injector line nuts to let the air out while cranking, and watch to see if fuel is coming out.

Will do.

Thanks for the advice.

I had all kinds of problems (including yours) until I finally moved the pmd and heat sync to the bumper hole. No more problems.
