Oil pan removal

how hard is it to get the oil pan out of a 98 gmc 4x4.
does engine need to come out or can i sneak it out?, thanks

Unbold the mounts an lift the engine a couple of inches.

thanks for the response. i got to talk to the shop that just did the rear main seal and destroyed my oil pan, im not happy with this guy :mad:
