If I changed my 6.5L computer to the HD F chip could I get rid of my egr setup on my engine. Im talking about getting rid of the egr valve and both egr selenoids. I already have gottin rid of the intake manifold itself and switched both to the non egr upper and lower manifolds. The hose that runs into the egr valve is plugged.

Yes you could remove them.

Thanks soon i will get rid of the vac pump also. I looked at the egr valve at my local parts store and it was like 350 bucks. For a maintenace part thats expensive. My starter for my 6.5L isnt even 300 bucks. I can get a set of shocks cheaper than my egr valve.

If mine would have had an EGR I would have sooner paid the 350 for the 80hp chip to shut it off than replace the dang thing.

So if i just order walts 80hp chip i could have him tune it to where I would not need the egr?

Yep, he can get you a chip to stop EGR functions. Just give him a call.
