I know this is an old subject but...I have no fuel pressure at the T valve drain when idleing. (Noticed it b/c of engine starving for fuel under accel) The OPS is less than a year old and has about 2000 miles on it, same with lift pump. Showing plenty of oil pressure at the dash gauge. I can jump the contacts at the relay and get 7-8lbs pressure. i checked the 10 amp crank fuse and it is ok.
I do not have voltage across or on either leg of the relay coil at any time.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you check the fuse near the relay? And fuel fuse by the steering wheel?

Sure did. If we are thinking of the same fuses the one under hood near realy is for the fuel solenoid and the one in dash is listed as the 'crank' fuse on the fuse legend and my wiring diagram. they are both ok.

If you connect the fuse by the relay to one of the live studs beside it and the lift pump runs, then the OPS switch has failed.

Roger that, good way to test relay I had not though of. I'll try it and post results when i can-Thanks

THANKS Grancito! I did want to beleive it was the OPS since it had less than 3k miles on it but...it was. Oh well, whats another $30. I am not sure where the last one was made but this one says made in USA. I hope it lasts more than 3k miles.

Pleased you found the problem, I jump wired from the fuse to a connection on the wiper motor when the OPS failed on a trip, so the pump runs with the ignition switch on.

The only reliable OPS is from AC Delco, aftermarket switches fail very quickly.
There is an OPS relay mod thet can be done to relieve the stress on the OPS for the 94-95 models.
A second relay is added to the circuit.
You splice another wire to the orange wire going to the OPS and extend that wire to a convient place to mount another relay.Connect it to terminal #30 of the relay.
Then splice a new wire to the grey wire going to the OPS and connect it to terminal #86 of the relay.
The purple wire gets cut at the OPS pigtail and extended to terminal #87 of the relay.(insulate the portion of the wire protruding from the OPS pigtail)
Then you add a ground from the relay mount screw to the #85 terminal of the relay.
This mod will direct the high current to the lift pump through the relay and relieve the stress on the OPS since it now only has to activate the relay. The OPS will live a much longer life.
If the relay you get is numbered differently the idea is for the OPS grey wire to energize the coil in the relay and the ground to complete the coil circuit. The orange wire supplies power to the lift pump at its relay contact and the purple wire is the lift pump feed at its contact.
