Well, flattire, not sure what +all that you are looking for, but here is a couple little points of interest.
As you mention, the later model 6.5s were rated at 195 hp and 425 lbs of torque. After somewhere about 1973 SAE decided that all horsepower and torque measurement would be taken at the rear wheels with the motor with accessories on.( prior to that, at the tail shaft of the motor w/ no alternator or power steering) Think about all the loses by transferring power through the transmission and rear end. Anytime something gives off heat. It is a lose of efficiency, or power.
Torque is the resistance to rotation ( a force applied trying to keep your back tire from turning)
Horsepower is, an amount of Work done within Time ( many years ago... 1 horsepower was a horse raising a 550lb. weight off the ground a given amount of feet in 1 minute) thus the work in time measurement.
I'm sure I may be off by a year or so, or detail here or there but you can get the idea.
If your still interested in more info, I have an old Applied Physics book that really explains things in detail, yet elementary enough to understand. See if you can find one.
Hope this helps
