I am new to the diesel world and all i know is bit and pieces. I now own a 1995 Chevy 3500 with a 6.5 turbo in it. I would like to know any thoughts and pointers that might be helpful to work with my truck. Thanks in advance!!

Do you tow any? If so the cooling package is a must. The fan and heady duty water pump. Also fsd kit. The down tube on my exhaust made alot of difference on my horsepower. Walt has several things to help. And the customer service is unmatched anywhere. SS Diesel/

Like Garth J said go to the SSDieselSupply web site and go to the FAQ and read them. You will learn a lot from them Also read about the FSD Heat Sync. It will tell you all about the FSD/PMD (fuel solenoid driver/ pump mounted driver, they are the same thing) The FSD/PMD is the Achilles heal of the electronic 6.5TD The Heat-Sync is a big help in eliminating that problem. Also don't be afraid to ask questions on this forum thats what it's here for!!!!
