6.2 vs. mechanical 6.5 injection pump

Is there much of a difference if any at all between the mechanical injection pump on a 6.2 and a mechanical injection pump on the 92-93 6.5? Would it be worthwhile for me to find a 6.5 mechanical pump and rebuild it and install it on my 6.2 turbo diesel? Or just turn up my 6.2 and its the same?

I think it goes without saying that rebuilding the pump will increase performance.

maybe 6.5 injectors too? marine injectors? I plan on 6.5 heads when I rebuild.

The pumps are basically the same. Just the 6.5 one is turned up more and it's on big deal to turn it up. Also if you go to 6.5 heads from 6.2 heads you will also need 6.5 injector lines. The injectors sit at a different angle and the 6.2 lines will not fit. I"m running 6.5 turbo injectors in my 6.2 with 6.5 heads. Hay how did you make out with that cold start ptoblem???
