Unknown Relays...??

Hello all,

Do any of you know what these relays do...or go to? The reason i ask is, when disconnecting my old exhaust brake (installed before i owned the truck). The control wires ran through the firewall to these relays then on to the brake. Just wondering if they do anything else...

My guess is they were just for opening/closing the exhaust brake.

I agree. Those are just standard arftermarket Bosch-type relays. GM didn't mount anything to the firewall there, any relays were under the cover at the top of the firewall.

Ok, so im thinkin that if i take them out something may be tied into them and cause some sort of problem. there are quite a few wires connected. I suppose i could just disconnect the power and see what happens.
