A couple of questions:

6.5 Turbo Diesel

1. What type of scanner can read the TDC OFFSET LEVEL ?
(Any enhanced GM Scanner ??)
Any recommendations ??

2. When the TDC offset level is within the .25 and .75 range, the PCM takes over right ??

Tech II is definitely one but very expensive.

So dialing in the "manual range" is a matter of reading the value from the reader, getting within range and then letting the PCM taking over.

You personally use it ?? What settings and adapters for 6.5 TBD ?

if your gonna open up the IP and dial in new timing, then yeah, you can use the one I have to read the timing, and adjust. It cost me like $130 for the cable, which includes the reg code for the software. Works great, page looks like hell, but I'd rather the dewd work on the program than have a pretty page.

Thanks.

The PCM takes over once it is manually in range right ?
