Last night I installed the 4" exhuast on my truck. Well most of it anyway. I couldn't get the last piece that goes over the axle to fit right. I'm thinking they didn't design it for an airbag suspension. But that's not what I'm worried about. Once I got it on the truck and tried to drive it the engine wouldn't turn over 2000 rpm and I had a huge billowing cloud of white smoke coming out. It idles fine but when I hit the throttle it starts to smoke and miss. I also get an injector pulse too long code when on the throttle but goes back off at idle.
HELP - Any idea's? I thought I might have knocked a wire or tube off but couldn't see anything last night. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I found the cause of the smoke and no power. This is going to make me sound like an idiot but if someone can learn from my stupidity then so be it. When dropping the old exhaust I had removed the airbox to be able to reach the band clamp on the turbo. Once the entire old exhaust was removed I decided to move the truck a few inches to make it easier to get around. Well when I fired it up a piece of plastic got ingested into the intake tube. While searching for the cause of the smoke I took off the intake tube from the turbo and there was a piece of plastic bag jamed into the turbine vanes. It doesn't look like it hurt the turbo, still spins freely and feels good. No Smoke, more power.
The moral of the story, This is why god invented aircleaners - Don't leave home without it.
Now on to the next problem, no vacuum at the waste gate controller
