hey i was wondering can i take everything off on my exhaust line and run straight pipe with no backpressure someone told me i needed some back pressure for the turbo thanks in advance

Turbos don't like back pressure. Most people don't like vehicles without mufflers.

thanks 4 the info i am trying to prove a point with a local mechanic that i use sometimes he says u cannot run without a muffler 4 long hurts the turbo i said he was wrong thanks and my muffler is deffinetly staying on lolthanks again

the only thing the muffler helps with is small backfire issue when you revv it up

turbo diesel + back pressure = unhappy oil burner
turbo diesel - back pressure = happy oil burner

thanks again you can tell him but u can't tell him much sorta on an ego thip but he is usually good to me when i use him and only $30.00 per hour so i usually let it go out the other ear
