A guy at the local parts store told me that alot of guys are using flex pipe between the down pipe and the tail pipe. Its probably not legal in most states, but I htink it may amplify the turbo if put on in the same direction as the rotation of the turbo.:D

dont understand what you mean. "same direction as the rotation of the turbo" if your coming from the downpipe under the cab you can only go towards the back of the truck.

One thing for sure, flex pipe will rust out much much faster than the solid pipe! Then you will be able to hear that turbo:D

The pipe is made in a cork screw fashion, so if it is installed in the same rotation as the turbo...... any way, thats what the guy told me at the parts store. I didnt think it made since either .

If saw a nice looking GM 6.5 rig,( any rig for that matter) looked under it and saw a flex pipe exhaust I think I would soil myself laughing. Medium and heavy trucks with ridged exhaust do use flex pipe to allow for engine movement only. And it only about a 2 ' piece. But if you do make a a system with the stuff at least the stainless steel stuff!! Also if you ever slow me the truck let me go to the head first!!

Hey Tinderbox427, you got to remember that you're in south central Missouri. Down there they spell new custom exhaust system F-L-E-X-P-I-P-E :D :D
