When I lived out west I use to go to BD's Dyno days open house. They use to do before and afters and everyone could see before their eyes how the exhaust or power chip, or K&N added hp. Very convincing.

I went to bd dyno days and didnt see any non stock 6.5's.
Would really like to see what real power they produce with all mods.

Have you ever had it at the dyno at bd dyno days? I drove in a friends truck with all the mods and it still didnt feel like a 300hp truck to me since ive been in and drove the dmax.

Nothing pulls like a D-max but mine definately pulls a lot stronger now where I notice it most is up the grade from Sumas Way to McAllum road west bound on NO 1 I dont drop any revs at all now and another is the 10% grade up the cut in North Vancouver I top out about 10 K faster now especially with the new marine injectors
94 GMC ex cab short box 2500
ss air intake
ss 4 inch exhaust
ss 80 hp chip
#9 resistor
upgraded water pump and fan
marine injectors and instant glow plugs
ss heat-sync
A-pillar 3 gauge kit and probably more that ive forgotten about

Actually, when I went, most odf the folks were regular "joes" who just drove their stock tuck up, and had mods done there that day. Some just filters, others exhausts and chips. We watched the before and after dynos. No souped up trucks, just regular folks, most with towing vehicles.

In higher elevation...above a mile mind you. Mine stock was at 155 hp...raggedy indeed. But a loss of hp in high elevation is normal. I just modded the crap out of my truck...wont know til my next emission test in september.Maybe back up to 200hp at least, either way its not a big deal. I dont mash me pedal too much, diesel fuel prices are enough of a wake up to chill on the "power" trip.
