im runnin 285/75/16 toyo M/Ts. They DIGG, and there not that loud on the highway. The only bad thing about them is that they wear out fast like mud tires do. Other wise they perform PERFECT, and they give the truck a nice aggressive look.

I run 265/75 R16 on my 95 2500 GMC Sierra. I don't know if this is stock or not, but I get the heavy duty (load range E) for handling heavy loads. Then you can pump them up to 80 psi if necessary.

245/75R16E BFG LongTrail TA's on American Racing 16x8 aluminum rims (8-lug). I have been seriously thinking about putting American Force 8-lug direct bolt 19.5" rims on and running Semi tires on mine when these TA's wear out in another 60K miles, or even putting American Force's 8 to 10 lug converters on and running 22.5's!!
