Just got my 3 guage set up today. I threw the A-pilar in and here is what it looks like.

I installed the guages yesterday and got most of the wiring done. I ran into a few questions on the hookup of some wires and the trani temp sender.

ok so i got a question for you! Should I save up some money and purchase the 3 pillar-gauge kit from SSDiesel, before i do any other upgrades to my truck?

I guess it depends on what you do with your truck. Mine is a commuter, and sometimes i tow a light trailer or two. What i did is,

1. FSD-heatsync
2. Exhaust (3" DP 3 1/2" straight pipe)
3. marine injectors and instant heat glow plugs.
4. Guages

Ive got leaking engine oil cooler lines so they are next on the list, but after that the next thing im going to do is

5. cooling upgrade
6. 80 HP chip

So i've been thinkinging, should i purchase the heat sink with the new PMD and #9 resister in it or should I, but the heat sink take the old pmd off the fuel pump and put a number #9 resister in my original PMD, there is nothing wrong with it, just curious what i should do.

If it ain't broke - don't fix it ! Leave your PMD where it is and wait till it goes bad. Than buy a new one with cooler and resistor or you got them until the stock ones fails and you only habe to change the connector cable to the new one. This version i would prefer, but if you want to use the one mounted on th IP you have to remove the whole IP to get at it. I wouldn't do that, so i would drive with the stock "location" until it fails and than only change the connector to the new already mounted one.
