Hey I'm wondering the same thing, just thought I'd resurrect this thread and see if anyone out there has any experiences with the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. I just got a quote and an informational package on a unit that is supposed to work with the 6.5

Just had a look on the inside of my fuel door:

Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel only

Okay, the will be a difference between LOW and ULTRA LOW, but how much IS the difference ? 1995 K2500 LightDuty (6-lugs) Engine Code L56 "S" - Is or could be there also a difference between light and heavy duty and US-models and canada specification ?

Actually i use about 500 ml of 2-stroke-oil in addition of a full fuel tank(98,8 liters - short bed fuel tank).

Sven

The difference between Low and Utra-Low is HUGE apparently, the old Low Sulpher had 500ppm and the new stuff is regulated at 15ppm, which is a BIG jump.

I'm sure I'm wrong, but... I think LOW is at 500 PPM (parts per million) and ULSD is around 5 PPM. But alas, just like with cholesterol, there is good sulfer and bad sulfer. They remove the bad sulfer and add in stuff to retain the required lubricity

So, has anyone tried the Fitch Fuel Catalist?
