hello
i have a 98 gmc 3500 dually ext cab 4x4 with 6.5
has anybody added a rear sway bar to their truck ? i have seen a few but im not sure if they are factory or aftermarket. i do have a rear sway bar from a 90 3500 dually hanging around, does anybody know if it will fit ?
any suggestions on where to get one ? thanks...perry

Yes, it will fit. The two years are the same axle, frame springs. transfer all the mounting hardware, the holes should already be there on your 98. You can also try Summit Racing for Helwig, etc. aftermarket.

i will try to install the rear bar asap, i think i have everything new gm to do it.

While you're at it, you might as well replace the OEM rubber bushings, which are probably rotting out by now, with aftermarket polyurethane ones by Energy Suspension or Prothane. Definitately worth the improvement in handling and ride for the slight increase in cost.
