Hello; I'm a new member and was finding the questions and advice forums very interesting to read. Some very helpful information is posted, and I'm hoping for some of that good advice myself.
I've been having some awful times lately. It started with the truck shutting down when I hit one of Bostons nice little pot holes, it had proggrested to doing it more often even on small bumps. We found and repaired or replaced some bad wiring and a few components, as follows: replaced crank sensor (crushed harness) ignition sw. harness (.8 volt to computer when stalled) input speed sensor (tested bad) rotted wire in harness at transmission. The truck still has 2 codes (216) injector time cont.&(1214)TDC time offset(holding solid). Any help to find resolve these the problems would surely be appreciated.
The truck is a 1996 Chevy K3500 Dually, AT, 4X4 ,6.5 turbo. Thanks and happy motoring Gregg.sr@hotmail.com
