Im going to be purchasing the triple pillar gauge set from SSDiesel... Also looking into buying the 80Hp Chip I already have the exhaust and intake. So what cooling upgrades should I be looking into on purchasing?

I would go with the whole upgrade if you can afford it or at least the fan kit for sure

Don't forget about the radiator. The stock aluminum core can be corroded, depending on the age, type and/or the condition of the coolant. I'd get a new copper core from Walt.

My '95 K3500 (60k miles) was running 225*+ on hot days under heavy tow.
I went with only the 130gpm water pump, the 180* thermostart and added a product called "water wetter" you can buy at any parts store. She rarelly goes over 210* now. It took about 10 hours, taking my time, to install the pump. (It takes about an hour on my old 350ci) The other guys have point, you may need a rad if yours is old and has not been well maintained.

I'm sure Walt has informed you of this, but just in case he hasn't...

You're going to need to order an 80HP ECM for your 96 ODBII truck, not the 80HP chip you originally mentioned.
