I just got a faria diesel tach from a boat, its programmable and uses a flywheel pickup. I need the sensor to mount on my bellhousing.
Me being really, really, really cheap and not wanting to spend $100 for a real sensor can I use an 480 trans output sensor or an abs sensor instead? Or a sensor for an f-750 i can get for cheap?
I figure anything that can pickup a reluctor ring can read the flywheel too no?
