Yes, and yes. Ford is planning on '09 MY for a diesel F150 with the little joke in it (This is per an update in last month's Diesel Power), and yes there has been a silent MFR recall for some issues with the mama joke, in fact, diesel F250 and 350 production was halted for a while as Ford and Navistar got into a pissing contest over warranty service issues relating to among other things, failing emissions systems components and engines eating themselves! This was from this month's issue of DP.
