I recently bought a 95 K2500 completely stock only 122,00 miles on it much more power than the 96 Dodge 2500 5.9L (gas) that I got rid of. I found out that on the chevy the fuel filter is leaking near the bottom, I replaced the filter and tightened the lines, but still leaking. Does any body know if I can get just the filter housing, or do I need to replace everything??

Pull the entire housing, and turn it over. you will see a plastic ring. This ring holds in your housing heater element, there is a flat o-ring that seals it. I think you can buy this o-ring at your dealer for 3 to 6 dollars.

That is exactly what I did, thanks to local wrench jockey no charge for the O-ring. No charge vs. $100+ for new filter assembly, thanks everybody.:D
