My brother and I were comparing engine sounds of our 6.5's. Mine has sort of a lubbing sound at idle, seems to go away a little when accelerating, but is always kind of there, did not always sound this way. Seems to be on the passenger side of the engine, any ideas. His is very smooth with none of this type of noise.
1995- 3/4 ton, 6.5 on second engine, supposedly with 90,000 on it.
