599 Block???

Hello,

How do you know what block you have? Where are these numbers?My truck is a 93 and think it should be a 599...Maybe? Is it is the lifter valley? I know where casting numbers are on a small block etc.I have not looked just thought I'd ask first.I'll be changing out head gaskets so I'll look then.

The block number is indeed in the lifter valley, driver's side. It is raised dots about 2" high.
