View Full Version : new heads and stuff now stalling

hey guys, this weekend took the plunge. put in new heads, new 4 inch exhaust. new marine injectors , new glow plugs, new glow plug relay, new fuel filter, new upgrade water pump, new radiator ,new exhaust manifolds, new lift pump, new ops, and remote pd is 4 months old.also the solinoids for the vaccum and air fiter assembly. starts up and runs smooth. all air is bled ouy . ran for a couple of hourse. valve at fuel filter lets off small geyser. it satalls when put in gear. i can rev it up in oark sounds great,\. put it in gear it stalls. any ideas? doug i would love to hear from you .

How does it stall in drive? Stumble and die? If you hold the RPM up will it keep running? Does it instantly quit and just won't run? Need more information? With it running in park wiggle all the harness connectors on the back of the engine is a big 21 pin connector check that one. If it stumbles or quits when you wiggle these things thats most likely where the problem could be. Good luck!!

doug i think there is still air in the system. what is the proper order and sequence to do it. thanks dr. peter

Glad I could help. The wire was happy in park but when you put it in gear the engine moved to break the connection.
