Hi All
Have a question about oil pressure on a 95, 4 wheel drive, 1/2 ton with 148 k on it. At a idle I have about 10 to 15 psi,and the check gauge lite is just coming on, running at 1ooo rpm's and above I have 20 to 40 psi. I am looking to get about 10 to 15 k more from this engine if I can.Has anyone ever had any luck by just replacing the oil pump, with a high volume one?
The only modifications this truck has is a new FSD Heat-Sync, Oil pressure switch, and a #9 resistor.

I would put a mechanical gauge on it, or replace the sender to ensure that your gage is reading correctly....
