Old topic, also check Diesel Power magazine, Aug 07, and Dec 06 for 5.9 to chevy conversion articles.

when you say search mode what do you mean? And how do you select issues on the diesel power mag site?

Look at the tool bar at the top of the page. Click search. click advanced. Follow the dirrections, and you can quickly find just about anything that's been discussed on this forum since its inception.

"Old timers" on the forum like sixnickel, 3bals, christja, or myself have seen the same questions asked so many times, that often we will just tell you to look it up, or if feeling magnaimous, will post the link to the thread, rather than waste time rewriting something that has already been dicussed in detail just a few weeks or months ago.

For Diesel Power, click to back issues to see the on-line articles.

Hope you have a good team, it's more complicated than you think. The cummins is taller and longer than the 6.5. You will have to alter the frame and make custom mounts to lower it and move it back to the firewall to get it to just fit behind the radiator. Then there is the accessory interface and engine management issues. When I get home, I will check my back issues of Diesel Power for the issue from last fall with the article on one that was done to a K3500.

You should see the recruit commitments The Husker's have for the 2008 class. These are some of the highest rated high schools juniors and JuCo players in the country. We got a JuCo tightend coming this fall who's 6' 7" 265, and four high school offensive linemen who average 6' 5" and 305 and are all Rivals.com 4 and 5 star recruits. We have a QB who's 6" 5" 235 and is rated as the number 1 HS QB prospect in the nation by one recruiting service, and number 4 by the other.

Watch out, The Huskers are reloading, and gunning for a National Championship in the next couple of years!

hey husker 6.5 that sounds great we need some more big guys on the front line like when osborne was coach ahh the good old days lol. back to task at hand there is a guy in montana that builds the motor mounts as well as the brackets to keep the ac and the gm alternator in the stock area he has got it where it is not as hard as you think not saying it is going to be all roses but it is in reach of a common person with small fab skills check google for autoworld cummins repowers and take a look at his stuff you will be shocked...
GO BIG RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D
