have a truck with code 34, installed new stepper motor, timing now follows within 1-2 degrees of desired but will set service engine light on and off while driving. Seems to run ok but hard to start cold, same as with old stepper motor. Truck has ben run on veggie oil for the past 6 mos. or so.
