Snap-On MTG2500 ...........HELP!!

Can any one help me? I borrowed a scanner and only have it for a few hours. I replaced the injection pump with a new one and am having trouble timing it. Can anyone walk me through it? I want to know how to command the PCM to learn TDCO. Thanks.

no one has replied so all I know is that you need to search the menu on the reader for the learn funcion. hope someone sees you post and gives instructions.

To set timing you need a Tech 1(pre OBD1 ) Tech 2 or a Master Tech scanner to set timing on a 6.5. I own a" brick" It's good for pulling codes and some test but to set timing I borrow a buddy's Tach 2 or Master Tech.

Thanks. I cant understand why Snap-On didnt add that to their program for the OBD1. After some research i found out just what you said,So.............i am having a buddy bring home a Tech II this weekend from a GM dealership he works at.
