Hi,Can anybody tell me if a 6.2 fan clutch will interchange with a 6.5?My 2500 sounds like it has a blower on it,and I have found a 6.2 clutch relatively cheap[less than the $180.00 advance wants]Thanks, and have a safe and Happy New Year!

The 6.2 fan turns the oposite way from the serpentine driven one so I dont think the clutch will work..Thats a good question for Walt. However why not get the fan upgrade and solve the problem ..new clutch and larger fan = more air flow....Garth

Thanks for the info on the reverse direction of clutch.I have never heard of the upgrade,Where can I get it ?and ballpark, how much would it be?What would be the benefits?Drawbacks? My 2500 has over 250k on it,still going strong,I would like to keep her for a while longer.Thank You for this great site! And have a safe and Happy New Year!

Walt has the fan and other gret products at his website
www.ssdieselsupply.com
I have the fan and am impressed at the amount of air it moves, It has nine blades and fits right on with no problems at all .All you have to do is take off the upper shroud and loosen the fan belt then the four nuts holding the old clutch then just put rhe new one on iand put all the stuff back on.
Stand back when you start the truck it will suck you right through the rad....lol
I pull a 27 foot 5th wheel RV and dont have any heating problems at all
Happy New Year to all
