Port Matching

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone had port matched their intake manifold? I have a 95 2dr Yukon with the 6.5 and i am thinking of relocating my PMD, installing walt's #9 resistor, and then while i have my intake manifold off, port matching that also. Just wondering if anyone had done that and gotten some power out of it. thanks guys

Matching ports will always help with airflow as almost all racers do it to their engines.Always match the ports to the gasket on both the manifold and the head.While you have the manifold off, it might not be a bad idea to look for any rough spots inside the manifold that could restrict airflow or worse,fall off and go into the engine.While matching the ports to the heads make sure you DO NOT get any metal down the intake ports or you could do serious damage to your 6.5.
