Hey everyone,
My 6.5 is finally showing her age and stalling at times (3 in the last week) and setting P1216 so I'm suspecting my PMD is starting to fail, thing is when it stalls I don't have the fuel pump running or a check engine light. Is this normal or should I be looking elsewhere, already checked the wiring and gorunds they are all good :D

Yepper, definitely PMD stuff, no code, no light, no fuel.......
Might be the Oil Pressure Switch that runs the fuel pump as well though..... Similar symptoms......

Well I have a new oil pressure sender here in my box so I'll swap it out and see what happens, thanks for the reply.

Well replaced the OP sender and the fuel filter while I was in there and she was good for about a week, then on the way home from work yesterday she started her stalling again but this time with no codes, I guess I'll be ordering a PMD and a cooler Monday and see what happens then

Question... My PMD is location on the side of the injector pump people are trying to tell me that with this style where they put it, i need to take the intake out and something else and mount the new PMD back where the old one is? Is this true ?

You may want to look at my thread "Fuel Problem?"
My PMD is fine so far.
Good luck

Well first off I wouldn't mount it back on the pump regardless because of the history of these going bad, secondly even if the cooler didn't work it does make replacement of the PMD so much easier :D
