I have a non exhaust gas return model, F VIN but was assembled by the Monday crew, and has that S type intake extension. The modification I made today is that recomended at Kennedydiesel.com, except for leaving in some of the web to prevent distortion of the casting. I started removing the web with a craftsman sabersaw but it went on vacation, like it's cousin the drill did. The sawsall had too long a stroke so it was finished using a 4 1/2 inch grinder and then a dremel to make the corners smooth. Hope the Photos show OK.
