Checking Vacuum

I don't have any vacuum at the waste gate actuator, the solenoid is new and I don't see a way of get the vacuum line off the pump without removing the alternator.
How do you check vacuum at the pump without cutting the existing line?
Where is the vacuum line that operates the AC actuators?

The AC system is electrically controled, no longer vacuum. The vacuum tube runs down the back of the AC compressor, it looks a bit like an alternator, you should be able to fit your hand down there. Otherwise, pull the small tube from the large one at the top, and check there. With a flashlight make a visual check of the hose going down to the pump.
