Ignition Issue

Im not to sure if this is the problem... But sometimes when i go to start the truck it take a second for all the lights on the dash, like check engine the battery light all those to light up before i start the engine. Also i giggled the key a few times and the truck cut off, not sure if that could be a back ignition? Bad Ignition Switch?

Sounds to me like a bad ignition switch.

Ahh my Dad said the same thing.. It cuts out and if i put it in park it will restart, is there something lose in the ignition switch? it did it today when i pulled into a parking spot.. it just dies like someone shut the truck off but i still steer and use the breaks...

I have seen lots of posts that say that the ignition switch causes lots of problems.

the second one, unless you wanna install a new lock cylinder and still have the old switch........:)

Since none of us are there.........well we are all guessing!!! What did you find?

Nothing yet, it seems to be running fine knock on wood, next time it happens i will go ahead and install a new switch
