My gas needle started jumping around right after I changed my valve gaskets. In this process I had to remove the upper & lower intake manifold which invoved me removing the ground that was connected to the lower intake manifold bolt on the passenger side of the manifold. Right after I finished with the repair the needle started jumping so I moved the ground to the fuel filter mount and it still jumps. Any solutions?

Sounds to me like it is still not grounding right.

That is your engine ground, not associated with body grounds where the fuel gage system grounds. You moved something like a connector, or just coincidence.

Hope your fixed. If not, my exhaust gasket blew a hole. The hot exhaust melted the wire harness that runs down the fire wall to the drivers side chassic. Melting the wires for the tail lights, fuel gauge etc.
