Hey guys how is everyone this evening here is my problem I just had my engine rebuilt and now when i turn the igniton off the engine keeps running and i have to shut it off by the wire on the fuel...
ok husker i think ill do that ill try flushing it and look for leaks
and dont forget the oil pan you may have to change the oil pan if it a two peice seal to fit for the front pumpkin
I have a 1995 suburban k2500 and my question is does anyone know where I can get the heater Tee pipes the ones that connect the front and rear hoses together they were not on the burb when i bought it

Have you figured this out yet JD? Sounds like either a lifter or bad injector
yea man still wat to know how many people you had help you hold that crank in while ypu bolted it in?
You said you replaced the crank and bearings did you also replace no2 connecting rod? Or did the bearing not spin on the rod?
had a miss like that turned out I had bad lifters thanks to grancito i replaced all my lifters now runs like a champ
I found it interesting that i went to the chevy dealer just to see what a oil pan gasket would cost for my 6.5 and the parts guy brought out a schematic he showed me that it only shows the rear seal...
Ive done it on a gasser before but cant say ive ever tried it on a diesel would be interest to know the results tho!!
I know every other chevy oil pan Ive ever done the rear seal went down around the lip on the pan then went up against the bearing
no wonder i couldnt get the last one to fit I tried to rtv it in place but then couldnt get the oil pan to seal on the rear

definatly a fuel leak I pulled the intake and the valley had about 1/4 in of fuel now all i have to do is find out where its coming from
