    Default Cellphone Drivers

the one thing that I can not stand is people on cell phones while they are driving. Today on my way to school I almost got hit twice. First, the lane was merging from 4 to 2 lanes and the lady just kepting comin over and I honked the horn and she looked like at me like it was my fault even though even though it was her lane that was closing. The 2nd one this guy ran through a light and was too close for comfort to hitting me but any way People that talk on their cellphone and drive really tick me off

Well I beg to differ from you. At least a little bit. Cells are not the culprit here.....it is the drivers. Cells are just another thing that these poor drivers have to play with. Other things are newspapers, makeup, cigerettes, coffee, CD's/cassettes and the like. Cells are just more visible to those that are encountering the poor driver. Next time you see an accident. Question the driver as to what they were doing when they discovered that impact was forth coming. You may be very suprised to see that the causes have not really changed from 25 years ago. These are the same people that can't chew gum and walk at the same time.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

In germany it is forbidden to phone while driving. You must not take the cell in your hands with calling or not. Yout have to pay 40 bucks if the police stops you, but every "ass...." in germany is driveng and uses the cell. My advantage here is, that there aren't so much pickuptrucks here and the most car are smaller, so if get close enough to the phoning driver, pass and than push the horn, their reaction is really funny. Some did an emergancy braking, some others let the cell falling down, but the best are the people who mean they are alone on this planet, they got an ass full of problems to hold their cars on the street and don't crash into a tree or something else along the street.

Now that you mention it I think that she was probably preoccupied with something else but I agree that Cellphones aren't the only culprit but they can be prevented better than any of the other things

I agree with Steeveo. I go to alot of bad traffic accidents and I found that they is a huge range of reasons why people get preoccupied while driving. I'm not saying Cells aren't a problem. What I am saying is they aren't the only problem.

arn't they the old Citeron 2cvo. It's been a while since I lived in Germany but I recall back in 1985 they were a kit car that you bought and assembled.

No radio??? now that must be for the real blond with real blond roots who can bat her eyes and smile at the same time. lol.
Really, I think if they ban Cells they had better ban children. They can be more distracting then the family dog that is sitting on the driver's lap and hanging it's head out the window.

    my 2 cents

Hey I was heading down the freeway about 5 over the limit and in my mirror I see a small import comming fast in the other lane and what was different is the person was sitting in the middle of the car so as it passed it was a woman sitting in the centre with her left hand on the wheel and with her right bottle feeding her baby which was laying on the passenger seat. she must have been going about 20 over the limit, If I was her hubby !!!

    Talking

It's not usually the phone. Its the person. People in everyday society tend to be stupid. Stupidity should be painful. Your horn just isn't loud enough. A train horn will fix their wagon everytime. (I do believe)
