Thread: 351 help??

    Default 351 help??

    Since I'm always on here figure I might run this by yall and see what you say...

    I just recently aquried an 86' fullsize bronco with a 351w fuel injected.... that is my mud toy...anyhow...it misses really bad around 4000...but then clears up around 4600. Has a very slight miss at idle but other then that runs good until it hits about 4 grand then breaks up but comes back after you get past that rough spot...

    You could be getting valve bounce from a weak or broken valve spring.

    The tfi module(thick film ignition) module is known for breaking down when hot.I would have that checked out (orieleys and autozone parts stores will check it if you take the module in.)and when you replace it<install with the dielectric grease.

    That problem been fixed, but I have new problems but its on the back burner right now I have more important things to do right now, lol. but thanks
