I have two trucks, one with each system, I would not attempt to convert the DS4 to use the DB2 IP. I have the accelerator pedal and cable, but what is going to control the transmission when the accelerator module is removed? Also the ECM gets engine revs from the DS4 system, the DB2 from a separate sensor. It could be done using the DB2 computer, sensors, and harnesses from another truck.

Pump swap is pretty basic and staright forward. Pretty much just swap them. You will then need to convert your electric throttle pedal to a manual (cable) type pedal. Make sure you get a bracket for you ip and throttle cable. You will lose your cruise control though. You will need to convert your wastegate actuator to a manual watsegate, ecm controls vacume and turbo boost. You can then delete the vacume pump, lines, and solenoids. not sure what actaully controls auto tranny in your 94 (if your running a manual tranny then that would be easy) Also im not sure what what kinda speedo drive you have (electronic or cable) if electronic then im not sure what contols auto tranny and speedo readout. and of course you will have to live with the service throttle soon light bein on, and check engine light, unless you remove the bulbs.
friend of mine did such a swap, but he put the engine in a 90 truck, with manual tranny. Swapped injection pump and fabbed exhaust and was pleased with the result. ( and hes a ford and cummins guy and the chevy 6.5TD is his service truck, go figure LOL) .

Yea, i knew my friends was easy. And this ones gunna take sum time and thought. Pump swap is easy, the dash electrnics and tranny control are gunna be really tricky.
Grancito is right, the easyiest way for him to swap would be to find a junk 92 or 93 with a 6.5 and swap the complete wireing harness and such. as long as tranny electronics are the same and the 93 Tranny control module will control the 94 electronic tranny.
