Can you tell a difference in anything with an intercooler on there?

    Hi

Yes, the intake air temperature is about 20 degrees celcius lower on a summerday in Norway.(witch is not tropical) I drove it without the cooler first and logged temps.
After i installed the cooler i drove the same route again, the end of the route was a 2km climb, and i noticed better response when i flored it.
I have installed a fan under the IC after this test, but i will wait until i have the same conditions as my first test, to se if it improves any.

Default My new ATA cooler setup

Hi, i thought i should share my custom hood scoop&intercooler setup.

I used a hood from the autosalvage for my fabrication so i didnt have to let the truck sit while i worked on it.
I used a damaged hood from a Subaru Forester Diesel and cutted out the scoop part i needed. Did some carefully measuring on the hood ant made the first cut. Married the two parts and they fitted very nice together.
Fist i used a Cooler from a Voyager diesel, drove it for a year, but it was way to restrictive. I had nice IATīs but at WOT it didnt flow enough.
And the GMx turbo also was not a perfect turbo, it makes a good heater

So a few weeks ago i started on planning for a better setup.
I bought a 600x300x76 intercooler rated at 700CFM, K-47 filter box, AFE filter, new turbo, and a 3 step MPC tune.

All but the Tune is now installed, and i am very pleased with the result.
I got a lot of help from a great guy .
Going to let the turbo break in properly before i install the Tuning.
The results so far is looking very nice, very little lag and nice IATīs.
Love the sound from the new turbo.

Cruising in 55 mph i get 19 degrees IAT
WOT up a hill of 30 degrees a 73 mph i get 35 degrees IAT
    Outside temp was 14 degrees.
    0-100 km\h 9-10 sec.
