    Default P400 6.5 diesel engine

What would it take to fit this engine into a 1996 suburban 4x4?

How would it fit into a 1988 GM crew cab 4x4? Any mods?

That would be nice to put in my burbo. Also would be real cool in a older crew cab. Thanks.

Aside from what Grancito mentioned about the pan, I heard there may be clearance issues on a 4WD application due to an expanded depth caused by block skirt depth. I have seen that a few in the Hummer forums have done this swap, (pan issue mention every time) may be more info. there or from manufacturer website.
