    Default New Process

    Im looking for a site that i can type in casting numbers off of New Process transfer cases and other New Process items to find out what they are. Currently working on an older dodge with a two speed range unit mounted between a 727(?) automatic transmission, and a NP 205 transfer case. The two speed unit has the same NP emblem on it as the NP205 transfer case, and some casting numbers (different casting numbers as the trasfer case), but no one yet has been able to match up any parts with casting numbers. I havent found a tag on the two speed unit yet, and they want tag numbers to identify it. Any help would be great. Thanks

    my 88 dually has a doug nash 2-sp locked in hi behind a turbo 400..it has an np casting #. STILL don't know how fast it will run with the 6.2 but , oh man the fuel milage...

    Body and frame is an 82, Engine is a 95 360 gasser, huge 1 ton axles, 38" swampers, Big @ss homemade dump bed. Needs the extra 2 speed so it can get miles per gallon, instead of gallons per mile. Hauls three tons of stone with ease. Someone else built the truck to haul wood. Sold it cause it was too big to get around the woods. Friend of mine bought it, My 6.5 hauled it home. Was workin ok till friends son tried to back over a stump with a huge load of wood on it. Now it has no reverse. Now he wants to swap a manual trans into the truck, instead of the weak automatic. Gotta figure out what the two speed unit is so i can see what trannys it would work with, or what adapters id need to hook it to a manual.
