    Default 4l80 Swap

I have access to a 2WD that has been recently
worked on. I am doing an engine swap anyway and
thought it would be great to drop in a fresher trany.

My 4l80E is 4x4 and I've been told that it might be
possible to swap the tailshaft and tailhousing from
    my 4x4 to the 2wd??

    Is it doable? Pretty easy??

    Thanks

Doable but not easy, the whole trans must come apart to swap the tailshaft.
