    Default Hydro-boost

I am having a problem with power steering fluid leaking. I know from following this forum that I should check

1st - power steering hose ends for signs of seepage/leakage
2nd -the front seal of the power steering pump.
3rd - then the steering gear box
    4th - the Hydroboost unit

What is a hydroboost unit and where would I buy on if it needs replacing? I can't seem to find it on Walt's site or on Rock Auto. Thanks.

I'll try again, first post wouldn't go. Rock auto has the hydroboost listed as "power brake booster", it is behind the brake master cylinder.

I just replace a hydro-boost today. It was leaking inside the cab. The hardest part to remove was the clip @ the brake switch and the 2 top bolts (in the cab, under the dash).

My power steering fluid leaks from the motor I don't know exactly where. It usually leaks, or maybe just leaks faster, when I am parked on an incline rather than flat surface.

How can I know whether my power brake booster (Hydro boost) needs replacing?
If it does, should I also replace the power brake booster check valve and the power brake booster gasket?

Leaking from the motor means it is from the steering pump, could be a hose or shaft seal. If the booster is leaking, it will have oil on or under it. The gasket is just a seal on the fire wall to stop air entering the cab from the engine compartment, no need to replace. The check valve is listed in error, it is for the gasoline model with a vacuum booster.
