    Default battery charging issues

Ok guys i love my 88-98 chevys, but im new to the 6.5 world. I have a 1995 k3500 drw with 224xxx on it it has 2 new batteries and a new alternator, the truck doesnt always start (especially on cold days) it will start if you jump it. Seems like if you let it sit for 2 or more hours after driving it it will have enough power to start, but not after an hour or more of driving (just around town) i have cleaned every ground on the truck and traced every wire i can think of that would have something ti do with it. Im stummped on what it is can ANYBODY out there help me with this

It sounds like the starter brushes are worn out, common problem. The starter then draws a huge current. It is difficult to remove the wires from it to take it out, you have to remove the passenger side wheel to get access. Brush replacement is easy and cheep, just remove the end plate to access them.
